Within you is the power to create the career that you desire and have always aspired to. It is all about believing in yourself. Don’t sell yourself short, you will lose out when you do that, that influence over your destiny diminishes each time. The career situation you find yourself in now has been created by you and is your choice.
Many will make excuses by saying, “I have no choice” “I cannot do anything to change my circumstances” “there is nothing I can do” etc. This is an untruth… You can “choose” to allow the outer world to affect how you see your situation- yet; there is never a situation in which you do not have power and a choice over.
If you are presently unhappy in a job, or career you must believe you can make some changes.
You can choose to stay because you are doubtful if you can make a change successful, you could make plans for a career transition, look for another means of income, or reassess your view of your present company and see if you can enhance your career there. If you continue to do what you have been doing, you will continue to feel low, demotivated and angry, be under no illusions this has a potential to affect other areas of your life.
It is important you change your attitude if you want to make a change to your career. If you don’t attempt the change, you will constantly have a yearning for change to occur. If you want that change of career, start believing that you can do it. It is down to you to believe how you view your situation. We all make a conscious decision as to where we want to be. You can make conscious choices as to how to get to the place you want to be. Statements like “I will never work for myself, I do not have the means to set this up on my own.” “I will never find a good job” “I will always be poor”, “I will never get what I want” – this view programmes the mind to become more accepting of the same, limiting your ability.
You have the ability and power to make whatever you wish of your career, don’t sell yourself short. Are you not worth more than that?
